Association Picknic
On Saturday, July 25, 2015, the "MFAGC Annual Picnic in the Park" took place at the Crescent Springs Park in Northern Kentucky. On this occasion, the entire Mauritanian community of greater Cincinnati was invited to come and share in the fun of this event. With food and drinks provided by MFAGC, we enjoyed nature in the company of our friends and family.
This picnic feast was held at the end of the blessed month of Ramadan. In its honor, on behalf of myself and the MFAGC office, I would like to extend greetings and wish you all happiness and longevity.
This is a time not just for well wishes, but also a time to ask for forgiveness and to pray for the success of all good and peaceful endeavors. I have hopes that this feast of forgiveness reminds us to be aware of the challenges which our community strives to overcome, and to be mindful, as individuals, of our own participation in the greater good and in the health of society as a whole.
I would like to take this opportunity to reiterate my commitment, and that of the office, to the values that are the foundation of the MFAGC. I am pleased to share this extraordinary moment with all of you in our cherished community.
